Privacy Policy

Sign It ("the App") is an app for signing and filling in PDFs, documents and photos, developed and published by TidalAurum, LLC ("TidalAurum", "we", "us"). It is distributed on the Apple App Store as "Sign It - Pdf Doc Photo Image" under the bundle ID signpdfdoc.nathanlin.com. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the App.

Summary

• We do not collect any data. The App has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of our own.
• Your signatures, stamps, documents and form entries are processed and stored only on your device.
• The App contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs.
• The only network connection the App makes is to Apple's App Store, for purchases and subscriptions.
• The App is not directed at children under 13.

Information stored on your device

The App saves the following only on your device, in its own private storage:

• Signatures: signatures you draw, signatures created from text you type, and signatures you scan from paper. When you scan a signature, its background is removed on your device.
• Stamps: stamp images you import.
• Documents: the PDFs and photos you import, together with the signatures, text, dates, initials and check marks you place on them.
• PDF forms: what you type into a PDF's form fields is written into the copy of that PDF saved on your device.
• Initials: the initials you enter for one-tap filling.
• Settings: a few app settings, such as whether you have finished the introduction, how many free exports you have used, and whether the rating prompt has been shown.

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else, and the App does not sync it to iCloud. We have no way to see or access it.

Permissions

• Camera: used to photograph documents and to scan a signature from paper. Photos are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
• Photos: used to choose a photo to sign or a photo of your signature. The App mainly uses Apple's photo picker, which gives it access only to the photos you select.
• Files: you can import PDFs and images with Apple's Files picker, or open them in the App from another app's share sheet. The App reads only the file you choose to give it.

The App does not use your location, contacts, microphone, Bluetooth, notifications, Face ID or the advertising identifier (IDFA). You can allow or revoke camera and photo access at any time in iOS Settings.

Exporting and sharing

When you export a signed PDF or image, the App opens Apple's share sheet. You choose where the file goes, and from then on it is handled under the privacy policy of the app or service you send it to.

Purchases

The App offers weekly and yearly subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase, all through Apple's App Store. Apple processes your payment, and we never receive your payment details. The App checks your subscription status on your device through Apple's StoreKit and does not send purchase information to any server of ours. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings app under your name > Subscriptions.

Ratings and support

The App may ask you to rate it using Apple's standard rating prompt, which is handled by Apple.

If you tap "Contact Support", the App opens your own email app with a draft that includes your device model, iOS version and App version, to help us answer. You can edit or remove this before sending, and nothing is sent unless you send it. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply.

Data retention and deletion

Everything the App stores stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual signatures, stamps and documents inside the App. Deleting the App removes everything it stored.

Like any app's data, the App's data is included in your iCloud device backup or computer backup if you have backups turned on. It stays inside that backup, and we cannot access it.

Data sharing

We do not collect, sell or share personal information, because we do not receive any.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Because we do not hold any personal data about you, all your data is under your own control on your device, and you can delete it at any time as described above. You are welcome to contact us with any questions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
